14-inch screen
Looking to take on Acer and Samsung, HP is set to introduce a Pavilion-branded Chomebook in the near future.?
First spotted by Slashgear, a leak from HP's website (now pulled) detailed everything we need to know about the Series 3 and C7 competitor.?
HP's Chromebook will feature a 14-inch display with 1366 x 768 resolution, an SSD, 1.1GHz Intel Celeron Processor 847, 2GB of DDR3 SDRAM,?3 USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI out, ethernet, and eadphone/microphone combo port. Battery life is said to reach 4 hours and 15 minutes.
The machine will be .83 inches thick, 13.66 inches wide, and 9.37 inches deep, bringing the machine's weight overall to?3.96lb (1.8 kg).?

Compared to Samsung's Series 3 Chromebook, HP's take features a larger screen than the 11.6-inch Samsung includes, but not as fast of a processor.?
While nothing is official, HP detailed the device landing 17 February, just in-time for Mobile World Congress 2013 in Barcelona at the end of the month. We expect to get plenty of hands-on time at the trade show to give you a true comparison.
