Xbox One Controller and Headset Price Revealed
Jul 29th 2013, 23:57, by Richard Bailey Jr.

Earlier today, Microsoft released pricing details on both the Xbox One controller and headset accessories through a dedicated link over at The Microsoft Store website.

The Xbox One wireless controller will retail for $59.99 while the headset accessory will start at $24.99. In addition to these two items, there will also be an Xbox One Play and Charge Kit available with the controller ($74.99) and without ($24.99). When comparing these prices to the cost of the current Xbox 360 accessories, many will notice that all of the Xbox One accessories will essentially be $10 more expensive when next-gen begins this fall.

After hearing about this news and the new prices, I personally don't see anything wrong with spending the extra money just so long as the controller actually offers enhanced features to customers. Microsoft has stated many times that both Xbox 360 controllers and video games won't be compatible with the Xbox One. While the system is expected to have an impressive lineup of games and improved Kinect 2.0 capabilities, I'm expecting everything else to also offer a new gameplay experience. There is a lot of info that still hasn't been revealed about the Xbox One controller, and I'm personally hoping that we get more news on this sooner rather than later.

Do you think $59.99 is too much to pay for an Xbox One controller? Feel free to let us know in the comments section below.
