Earlier today, Microsoft unveiled a brand new preseason announcement trailer for their upcoming Kinect Sports Rivals video game. The video is embedded above for you to check out.
Prior to this trailer being released, Microsoft reps had stated that Kinect Sports Rivals Preseason would function as a free trial of the game for all Xbox One customers to tryout at launch. Kinect Sports Rivals Preseason will allow players to participate in wake racing, one the game's six core activities. In addition to several gameplay sequences in the video above, monthly multiplayer challenges are also highlighted as being a feature that Microsoft will continue to support regularly. Lastly, Microsoft added that users who download the trial between November 22nd and November 30th will unlock a new player title, a wetsuit, and wake racer to play in the game.
Kinect Sports Rivals was originally set to be an Xbox One launch title until Microsoft pushed the game back to a Spring 2014 release. The idea of them now offering this as a demo and renaming it to Kinect Sports Rivals Preseason is an overall good move on their part. Gamers will have a chance to play the game firsthand and see if it's right from them.
