The Dangers of a
Stock Market Melt-Up
NY Times article on the risks in the stock market going higher & higher without correction .. points out that Economist Ed Yardeni is worried that investors are not worrying much about the stock market .. although Yardeni is bullish on the stock market through the medium term, he is worried about the growing complacency of his fellow investors - Yardeni thinks the bull market would be more sustainable if there were more bearish concerns .. instead, investors are not worried & simply bidding prices higher & higher .. "I expect the market to rise .. But I'm worried that it could just go through the roof. If it does that, we could have a nasty correction afterward, maybe a bear market, and that could cause serious problems for the economy."
