Dark Souls II Releasing In March Next Year?
Jun 3rd 2013, 06:00

We’re just days away from the Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3 as it’s more commonly known, and already signs and advertisements for games are going up all around this year’s venue in Los Angeles. One particular advert might have given away the release date for the sequel to Dark Souls, a game that thrives on punishing players with intense difficulty and severe death penalties. Dark Souls II is one highly anticipated sequel, but could we only get our hands on it in March next year?

That’s what a large billboard near the convention centre suggests, which begs yet another question; will Dark Souls II be coming to next-gen consoles as well? As of now, the sequel developed by From Software has only been confirmed for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, but should this release date be true we could very well see a next-gen announcement during the expo.

A spokesperson from publisher Namco Bandai refused to comment on the rumour, but we should find out in the next few days or so whether we can look forward to breaking in new consoles with this brutally difficult RPG.
