After 3 years since the untimely passing of Hip-Hop legend Guru, Marco Polo got together with Talib Kweli and Guru's long-time Gangstarr partner DJ Premier to create a tribute track titled "G.U.R.U".
Marco Polo and Talib Kweli describe their admiration for Guru's skills and legacy that he created with DJ Premier and is a fitting tribute to one of the most skilled MC's in Hip-Hop. Guru himself is somewhat featured in the song via the cuts and samples of DJ Premier who has Guru chime in throughout the track and does the honor of being the bridge of the song.

"G.U.R.U" will be the lead single for Marco Polo's upcoming "PA2: The Director's Cut" which is due to be released in July. The album will feature some notable names like The Large Professor, Masta Ace and DJ Premier.
