Qualcomm has?accidentally?posted a roadmap detailing a second-quarter announcement for the next version of Android dubbed Key Lime Pie.?

Not much is known about what the update will bring in the way of features, but the second-quarter timeline does indicate a Google I/O 2013 announcement in May as previously rumoured.

Historically, Google announces a new version of Android at I/O and pushes an update to Nexus devices in the subsequent weeks. That seems to be the case here, as well.

After the roadmap appeared online, Qualcomm worked to contact blogs to take it down, though several still have it up at the time of this posting.?

Along with a new version of Android, Google is rumoured to announce a new Motorola X handset.?It is said to feature a 5-inch edge-to-edge display like the Motorola Razr M. The X will also be one of the first handsets to run Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, according to rumours.

Qualcomm's roadmap further details a Key Lime Pie handset in Q4 2013, but no other details are provided.

We'll keep you posted.
