Android Key Lime Pie unveiling tipped for Q2 by Qualcomm Feb 1st 2013, 02:21 Whoops! Qualcomm has?accidentally?posted a roadmap detailing a second-quarter announcement for the next version of Android dubbed Key Lime Pie.? Not much is known about what the update will bring in the way of features, but the second-quarter timeline does indicate a Google I/O 2013 announcement in May as previously rumoured. Historically, Google announces a new version of Android at I/O and pushes an update to Nexus devices in the subsequent weeks. That seems to be the case here, as well. Along with a new version of Android, Google is rumoured to announce a new Motorola X handset.?It is said to feature a 5-inch edge-to-edge display like the Motorola Razr M. The X will also be one of the first handsets to run Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, according to rumours. Qualcomm's roadmap further details a Key Lime Pie handset in Q4 2013, but no other details are provided. We'll keep you posted.
