Okay so before we do anything else let me get one thing straight. I did not rip this. Someone on YouTube did and uploaded the entire thing to their channel - PrincessRpg can be thanked for that. The only thing I did was download those videos through VDownload, converted them to VBR MP3, arranged them in chronological order and gave them decent names. So if you have an issue with this being practically a YT rip, then turn back now. Ye have been warned. Now some of you may be asking "But Doublehex! You have such high standards for your gamerip! Why would you do something so lazy?"

You see that? That is nearly 1,000 files of a bunch of gibberish numbers. You can't make sense out of that! Even if I were to delete all of the files that went under :20, I would still be left with somewhere around 450 files. Ladies and gents, that is a madhouse of files to go through. I could have worked it off of memory...but not with Zur! At the best of times his music has the slightest difference in rhythm. But here all of his battle music has the most miniscule, most microscopic of differences! I couldn't possibly use my memory to do that, and there was no way I was going to restart my playthrough to play it without voices or sound effects to record it.
The music is not good enough to deserve that. The plain honest truth of the matter is...this is a boring score. It's not just a bad score - because all of Zur's stuff is bad. But at least they can be enjoyable, in a so bad it's good sorta way. Here it's just...dull. I mean his combat music can hardly be called that! All of these tracks were literally -
literally - stitched together from a bunch of 20 second tunes. Listen carefully to most of the battle tracks and you'll hear a slight pause before the next tune starts.
And the area and character "themes"? Ugh. Let's not even go there. Zur has never, ever written a theme that was worthwhile. The only piece of music he had any miniscule of talent in was combat, and even then that was only in the "Well, it's decent" category.
So, this is all you will be getting from me.
Why did I even bother with this in the first place, if I was so "meh" about the whole thing? Because I am a completionist. I have my complete soundtrack of Origins, so I thought "I might as well. Gives me an excuse for a cover at least."
