We are trying to get readers to see that today's definition of a U.S.$ & the financial & political system that has developed around it, is not what the founding fathers of the United States intended. Today's $ is a violation of the Constitution. IF the founders of the U.S. were correct, today's $ (& the system it creates) is unsustainable. Warren Buffet helps to make one of our major theme points: The Federal Reserve has essentially become a gigantic leveraged hedge fund. What has been left unsaid is that the 5 major banks that control the Federal Reserve have also become essentially gigantic leveraged hedge funds. The stability of 'their' financial system requires that the free market never overwhelm their manipulations. That is another way of saying how 'wrong' the current system has become. America was supposed to stand for freedom & freedom requires free markets. Today's financial system requires that free markets never be allowed .. it could demolish the Federal Reserve's 'system' (for instance, what would occur if interest rates were allowed to find their free market level?).
