Hey guys (and girls) - I work for a company called Sprite Labs that has dabbled in education/entertainment apps in the past, but has spent the past several months really focused on a high-quality app that I think all parents are going to love.
They're using Nuance API to do voice/speech detection to help kids learn to read. The first set of words they're using are the Dolch Sight Words (if you don't know, these are the most important words for kids to master early on) and it works for ages 3 (or younger if your kid is a genius haha) to about 7 or 8.
Before we submit to Apple, we wanted to make sure we weren't missing anything, so I'm looking for some innovative parents who are interested in giving this a try with their kids. It will be $1.99 when it launches but we'll give you a free access code to try it now.
Thank you and we're really looking forward to your feedback!
-Matt
