U.S. President Barack Obama shakes hands with National Medal of Technology and Innovation recipient Dr. Norman McCombs from AirSep Corporation. McCombs, who invented pressure swing adsorption oxygen-supply systems that have a wide range of medical and industrial applications, was one of several researchers and innovators honored Friday for their work.U.S. President Barack Obama welcomed nearly two dozen researchers and innovators at the White House Friday  to receive the National Medal of Science and National Medal of Technology and Innovation.
