Google has expanded its Flight Search functionality to the UK, France, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands, as it was previously available for only US users.
The Google Flight Search, using data from ITA Software and launched in 2011, provides a curated search of upcoming flights and the ability to buy tickets through airlines.
The interface is simpler than other flight tracking services. A user simply enters in the area they're leaving, a destination, and dates. Google provides a detailed list of outbound flights with departure times, duration, arrival, airline, number of stops, and more. Google also has a useful data table for finding the cheapest price.

Along with the addition of new countries, Google has added support for eight languages in the service:?English, French, Italian, Spanish, Basque, Catalan, Galician and Dutch. Prices on Flight Search match local currency.
Sadly, not all airlines are provided in the search, though Google says it is working to fix that.?“Sometimes we are not able to show results for every single airline and we will make that clear," Noam Ben Haim, Senior Product Manager for Travel said. "We are working to expand our relationship with other airlines, and bring Flight Search to more countries and in more languages.”
