LittleBigPlanet Developers Tease New Project Ahead Of PS4 Reveal
Feb 12th 2013, 06:20

LittleBigPlanet is a massive Sony exclusive, and now its developers, Media Molecule, are teasing a brand new project ahead of the supposed PS4 reveal on the 20th. An update to the developers website indicates that they have something new and exciting to share with the world, but that’s all they’re giving away for now.

If you navigate to the “games” tab of Media Molecule’s website you’ll notice a new link marked with a simple “(?)”. Clicking on the link directs you to a music video by Toyah Willcox, titled Mystery. And, that’s it, nothing more, nothing less.

Could it be a new LittleBigPlanet title, maybe for the launch of the PS4. Probably not, considering the franchise was handed over to UK developer Sumo Digital last week. Sumo previously worked on Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed, so it’s good to see the franchise in good hands. Tat was sarcasm in case you’re like Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory.

So, a new IP is definitely on the table, and Media Molecule are on of the most interesting developers when it comes to making new and innovative titles. Just like LittleBigPLanet took the PS3 by storm, this new title could possibly do the same for Sony’s new hardware. Just yesterday we told you about Killzone 4 being a possible launch title for the PS4, so I wouldn’t count out Media Molecule’s mystery project as another one.

February 20th, just get here already.
